ready to be (excited about new music)

i have never waited in anticipation for an album in my life. usually i get to music years (or decades) after it's come out, or find with delight that a band i like put out a new album a year ago while trying to decide which of their old albums i want to put on.

all this to say i've pre-ordered ready to be and also got all excited today that they'd put up a tracklist and am generally having the time of my life having a new kind of experience with music.

Oh Minna, I'm so excited for you!! Isn't it fun! I also never waited for albums, or anticipated releases, or listened to songs the day they came out before kpop. They make such a PRODUCTION of the release with teasers, pictures, schedules, tracklists, and then the MV of course. I love that kpop gives me regular things to be excited about like this, and happily text friends about when they release, it's so joyful!

it really is!! i didn't even put together that the pre-release MV wasn't even the title track so there's another of those to be be excited about too probably. and I'm kind of delighted that I have to physically go into the store I pre-ordered from to get it. it's a whole event and that's fun sometimes!
